Ladies and gentleman, senors and senoritas it’s with great pleasure that we bring you the line-up for the Space Ibiza NYD15 event in Sydney celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the worlds greatest club. Nightclubs, Djs, events and festivals come and go with not many standing the test of time… But the legendary Space Ibiza is as strong as ever after 25 years of operation in the clubbing capital of the world… Featuring weekly nights such as Carl Cox “Music Is Revolution” Richie Hawtins “Enter” We Love Sundays, Kehakuma & Café Ole as well as the infamous opening and closing parties… for 6 years now we have been bringing the Space vibe to Sydney, the parties always sell out and are considered by many in the scene as the party of the year that everyone looks forward to and perfect way to start the New Year… The solid line-up that we have put together for this years show is as follows.

DERRICK CARTER
A Sydney favourite and one of the pinnacles of Chicago house music’s ’90s wave, Derrick’s sets are rooted in house, but he freely travels outside club tastes, seamlessly incorporating old-school disco, soul, jazz and whatever catches his fancy… Most of the time he works in Europe, where he’s become a celebrity among dance-music aficionados… Several mix albums have appeared, including Cosmic Disco on MixMag and Pagan Offering on Pagan. Carter has also founded two labels (Blue Cucaracha and Classic) Since then pioneering, innovative tracks and consequent critical acclaim have repeatedly marked Derrick out as once of the most important players in Dance music. Carter says that due to his growing notoriety his production talents have been requested by pop-oriented acts. But he prefers to remain underground.
Space is so special because of the people. All we do is host the party, but they’re the ones who make it what it is.
FUNK D’VOID
Funk D’Void is a DJ and producer who has been at the forefront of the global electronic music scene since the mid-90s… House music changed his life, the early Chicago sound specifically, and hearing the certain sounds during his childhood stirred something inside him; the 808 drum machine used on Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing” secured his fascination with these electronic sounds – the turning point over to the Detroit techno sound was almost a spiritual moment as it forged his unique sound that would follow over the coming years – visceral, soulful and without compromise. After a string of hits over the years (“Jack Me Off”, “Bad Coffee” “Emotional Content”) plus some killer remixes for the likes of Underworld, New Order and Kevin Saunderson, he is probably best known for the end-of-nighter ‘Diabla’ which bridged house and techno.
OLIVER KOLETSKI
Owner of Stil Vor Talent Oliver Koletski oozes cool factor… As Label manager, producer, DJ, bandleader: above all this, Oliver still manages to fill the clubs around the world and make people smile to his energetic DJ sets. Be in the best clubs of Europe such as London’s Fabric, Berlin’s Berghain or around the rest of the world: Oliver knows how to perform and connect with his audience and delivers everytime.
JAVI BORA
Apart from being Space Ibiza & Kehakuma resident DJ in Ibiza, JAVI BORA has also been the touring all over the world with the Space Ibiza brand and finished the season with a terrific set right before Nic Fancuilli & Carl Cox on the Terrace at the Space Ibiza closing fiesta… After an electrifying set at our last New Years Day party, we welcome back this very talented DJ producer to this years line-up.
JOE BRUNNING is doing great things at the moment with a forthcoming album on Carl Cox Intec Digital label, the big man himself has been singing the praises oh yes oh yes… not only a great producer but this guy has amazing wizardry skills behind the decks as well and def one to watch.
We Love Sundays at Space has been hugely success at the worlds No.1 club for years and we are pleased to have We Love resident DJs MARCO LOCO & MR DORIS join us for the party as well as our own homegrown We Love Sunday at Space resident MO’FUNK and Australian Space Ibiza NYD residents GARRY TODD & MATT CAHILL plus a host of Sydney’s finest local djs who always impress when they play this party,
Also proudly introducing as our very Special 25th Anniversary guest to celebrate this milestone we present to you the Ibiza legend and balearic house pioneer ALFREDO who is also currently a We Love Sundays at Space resident is as relevant now as he was back in the 80s and we are very excited and honoured to have him as part of our bill,
