Italian techno titan, Marco Carola no stranger to Sunwaves or prolonged sets having played b2b with Loco Dice played all night during the Winter Music Conference in March as well as his 24hrs set at Sunwaves last year (almost breaking a record1) and several 6-15hr sets at his Music On residency in Amnesia in 2016.
Music On is not just a record label, the party series was launched by Marco Carola in 2012. It’s the kind of night that inspires devotion in clubbers, with fans coming back time and time again to experience Carola’s marathon sets. Famed for his near-monastic commitment to techno, legend has it he listens to over a thousand new tracks a week, combing the ground for fresh selections to make sure his sets sound like no one else’s.
It’s one thing to pull an all nighter b2b with someone but going it alone, for one whole day at Sunwaves – now that’s impressive.
